In the app — immediate
If you still have Paw Grove installed, you can delete the account yourself. It takes effect straight away; nobody has to process a request.
- Open Paw Grove and go to More → Account settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm, then enter your password. Requiring the password means a lost or borrowed phone cannot erase your pets' history.
By email — if you no longer have the app
You do not need the app installed. Email us from the address your account is registered with and we will delete it for you.

Delete my Paw Grove account. - Send it from the email address registered to the account. This is how we confirm the request is yours — we will not delete an account on a request from another address.
- We confirm by reply once it is done: normally within 2 business days, always within 30 days.
What gets deleted

| Reviews | Any vet ratings or review text you submitted. |
What is kept, and for how long
- Encrypted backups may still contain a copy for up to 90 days after deletion, after which they expire automatically. Backups are not used to restore deleted accounts.
- Records we are legally required to retain, if any apply, are kept only for as long as the law requires and are not used for any other purpose.
Reminders scheduled on your phone are stored on the device, not on our servers. Uninstalling the app removes them.
Deleting only some data
You do not have to delete the whole account to remove information. In the app you can delete an individual pet (which removes its records with it), or remove single meals, walks, weigh-ins, expenses and policies where they are listed. Profile details are editable under More → Account settings.
